Amy Beeler was born in Oregon, Ohio (near Toledo) in 1976 and Graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.F.A. in Studio Art, with a specialty in jewelry and metal smithing, in 2000. After graduation Amy worked as a commercial bench jeweler, manufacturing and casting jewelry for several jewelry stores, before leaving to pursue a creative path.This time spent as a commercial bench jeweler gave Amy the opportunity to hone her superior casting skills. Amy has become known for incorporating her lifelike castings of seed pods, and other items found in nature, into her stunningly innovative, one of a kind jewelry works. Amy has spent the last decade traveling the country, displaying her work at art fairs and group gallery exhibitions winning Best Of Show, or top prize, an exciting nine times.
